Geoffroy Lerosey, President and Co-founder, and Yoann Jezequel, Director of the Satcom business line, had the honor and pleasure of representing Greenerwave during the New Year’s address to the armed forces, delivered by the President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron. This event, held at the Command of Digital and Cyber Ground Support, highlighted key issues related to innovation, space, cyber, and artificial intelligence.
The Head of State shared his vision of contemporary challenges, the missions of the armed forces, and the importance of technological advancements to maintain operational superiority. He also presented strategic directions for industries contributing to their equipment. The President notably emphasized the need for an “acceleration of technological innovations,” a crucial factor for strengthening Europe’s sovereignty and competitiveness. He called for a more integrated European defense, advocating for the emergence of industrial champions: “We need to invest more, but we also need to simplify, integrate, and accept the rise of European champions.”
